A great resource for Advertising, Marketing, Photojournalist students, as well as anyone looking into Men's Studies/Women's Studies in trying to understand the history of the male subject in print (specifically, in photography/advertising/commercials, etc.).I used this to write my senior thesis paper in college and it was very helpful -- I was able to used much of the pictures (very colorful prints) in the Appendix of my paper.However, even if you're not a student, this is a great coffee table book for men, for women, for anyone who appreciates style, and the representation of the modern man in visual images.
