I love the Mallory series and have been a fan since Mallory's Oracle was first published. The characters are uniquely drawn, the story lines also surprise and entertain. I had read The Man Who Cast Two Shadows in hardback years ago before I had my Kindle. I decided to revisit the early books and see if they were as good as I had remembered. I was was pleasantly surprised to discover that The Man Who Cast Two Shadows was like meeting an old friend whom I had missed, and one who had aged really well during those years we had been apart. There is no other protagonist quite like Mallory, and Charles? Well, Luddite though he is and may always be, there is no other character I would want to call my friend.
