I have 5 toy dogs. These washable pee pads are much better than disposable. My dogs like to shred the disposable ones into pieces everywhere. These are not super heavy, but heavy enough my dogs don’t pick them up. I use them if we have a litter of puppies, I cover my camper floor with them when we go camping in it so the carpet doesn’t get dirty. That’s especially a problem if it rains and they have to go outside and then they are wet and sometimes muddy. My dogs are used to a doggy door at home so if we are in the camper and I leave them alone to go eat or something, they will sometimes pee on the floor. These protect my carpet by absorbing all that and not leaking any through to the carpet. I take dirty ones outside and spray with the hose before washing them. I use vinegar along with the detergent to get rid of any smells. I have extras to put in their place while they are being washed. I hang dry them. Wonderful product and will save you money in the long run over disposable. Plus as long as they don’t have pee on them, they are easy to walk on and don’t disrupt camper trips. You could walk on them with pee on it because these absorb the pee, but for me if there’s pee it has to go outside immediately and get replaced with a clean one.We have quite a few pee pads out on any given day. We have a male senior dog who started marking alot when our neighbors got a bunch of dogs all at once.I wasn't sure about washable pee pads at first though. "Won't they stink and stain?"But I finally felt ready to try them after how badly the price of disposables went up during and after the pandemic. (nearly $35/per box now and most of them are stinky and perfumed.. no thanks!)I love that these pads are dark gray.. they look 100 times better than the blue and white disposables.They're nicely constructed with strong seams and non-slip backing. They're lightweight enough so that they aren't totally sopping wet when you bring them out of the washer. (some heavier reusables have this issue).Just be sure to use cold water when you wash them and never use fabric softener. I used a Seventh Generation scent-free pod and the pads came out totally smell-free.Even dog rescues that house many dogs under one roof have reusable pads! (I guess it would cost a fortune if they didn't.) So if you're on the fence about these, please just take a chance on them! You'll be really glad you did and you won't have to pay the inflated price of disposables anymore.We have two small senior dogs. They have never been good about going outside in inclement weather (too wet, too cold, too snowy - NOPE!). As they have gotten older, things have gotten worse. They would use pee pads (mostly). But we were constantly going through box after box of pads. I started using some washable pee pads a while back, but decided it was time for more.These are much nicer than my older washable pads. The seem to have a larger capacity. As the dogs pee, it soaks into the pad, and the pad can hold just so much liquid before becoming saturated. This is important if you have to leave your dogs for an extended period of time.These look nice. Guests mistake them for rugs. They wash well. I wash them on a delicate setting with a gentle laundry detergent and tumble dry them on medium. They have been through the wash several times without issue.One suggestion, when you make the switch to washable pads, get several. This way you can wash several at once. If you only have one or two, you find that you are constantly washing them. This can waste water and electricity. Washing several in one load is more efficient.I like them. The dogs seem to like them. They absorb what they are supposed to absorb. They look nice. They wash well. What's not to love?Our little pup is older and prone to have accidents. These pee pads are larger than others we previously bought and do a good job soaking up urine. They are also easy to wash. They do seem to stain more easily than the others but both my wife and I and our puppy appreciate having them.Ordered to use under the dogs water bowl, as she is very messy when she drinks. Works great. Love the 2 pack so that I can change them out and wash them occasionally. Wash great, no fading or shrinking with washing. Very happy with my order, saves me a lot of time cleaning up after every time she drinks!Have been using for my pregnant toy Aussie and I have to say these are great. They are definitely leak proof and very absorbent. Love I can just toss in the washer and dryer!These are perfect for inside of a kennel or for those long car rides with your fur baby, we washed them on gentle cycle and they held up. The dogs also love them so that is a plus. I will be buying more
