After limited success of solo albums from members of sheffield bands which split (milburn, harrisons etc.), I wasn't expecting from former Little Man Tate front front man, Jon Windle.After listening however, I needn't have been worried. First track "My Name's Frankie" is one of the stand-out tracks in an album where no track feels like a filler. I'd even go as far as saying that I prefer it to both Little Man Tate albums which did have tracks which I weren't that fussed about, and are therefore stuck somewhere on a shelf. This album however has managed to stay in my CD player for the last month since it arrived on my doormat.So yeah, an album full of upbeat songs, much like the LMT songs of old, and one that I was definitely very pleased with.
