No kind of instructions with this .. figured it out but the “clip” that’s supposed to hold it on the bleeder screw is thin pot metal bends when trying to put it on .. got some 1/4 I’d hose and a zip tie … bring it up higher than the caliper then back down into a bottle .. open the port pump and bleed .. this allows air to escape with out draining a bunch of fluid .. 1$ at any hardwareThis is my wife's amazon account, but this was bought for me. This is the worst thing i have ever bought with an OTC label BY FAR. The tangs and securing ring used to hold the hose on the bleeder are cheap (soft like copper as are the tangs) and really don't hold even if you back off the spring tension on the valve. Then if you get that sorted, the hose will blow off the nipple on end of the tang assembly. i fixed that with a small zip tie, but the tangs still don't hold well. I finally took the tangs off and zip tied the bare hose to the bleeder and it worked fine. but i shouldn't need to do that, and is only after i have brake fluid sprayed everywhere (not good for safety or paint). I plan to return this if i can.POS don't waste your time with this. Spring pressure is way too strong for the "one way valve" and no matter what I tried could not get it to stay attached to the bleed scrue. Ended up having my 12 year old daughter help me bleed the old fashioned way as I was taught to do over 30 years ago. I had a similar bleed aid many years ago and was hoping this would work as well as the old tool worked, but noooo this one just made a mess.This is theoretically a great tool. however, in real life use, it is a jokeNo matter how carefully you set this tool up, it just blows off every time you step on the brake pedal, creating a big messBetter off using a diaphragm brake bleeder or a vacuum brake bleederBut if you want to be a cheap skate, gravity bleeding also works. And it makes less of a mess than this tool doeslocking on the bleed fitting takes a little practice.. it works ok. could also use a small hose clampSmall nipple kept coming off the check valve. Not as effective as Genesis Magnet Bleeder Bottle. Line pops off basically everytime you try to use it making the one way valve at the end uselessIt works okay, but will fall apart if you abuse it.
