Both pups loved it in their Easter basket but the Westie had pieces chewed off with in 3 mins of having his. Thought it would be more durable.I have a rat terrier. He is also a genius. I've bought all kinds of toys and puzzles for him (you can even see one of his puzzles in my pic) but he masters them all in under 30 minutes. While this banana toy isn't a puzzle, it's the perfect size for him. What's best is that the treat slot is so narrow my dog is challenged by trying to get treats out of the toy. I put small cheese slices, carrots, milk bones, and greenies in it and it does keep him occupied for up to 15 minutes at a time, which is outstanding for my little genius. My terrier is about 30 pounds and this toy is the perfect size and toughness for him. I don't think it would last long with a larger dog like a shepherds or a lab. But for my terrier this was a win.I was on a search for a kong type toy that doesn't roll off my balcony, so this was perfect. I was expecting a bigger item, but my dog likes it anyway. It is bouncy, very dense and indestructible, but there is not a lot of space for actual treats. We just put his regular dry food kibble in there. For our Frenchie, he may be small but I would classify him as a “super chewer”. For this reason, we have stopped buying him plush toys and struggles to find some small enough yet durable. This is the answer and then some! The added bonus is the “treat” compartment where we usually put baby carrots (his favorite). Not only does this satisfy his chewing but it also is a form of enrichment for him. Thank you for a great product! My dog loves this but it is hard to clean it.Probably silly of me to assume this would be the size of an actual banana but I did. I have a bigger dog and don't think she will be as interested in a toy this small. Seems well designed. Just wish it were a bigger sizeDecided to give this toy a try because of its cute design and the possibility of using it as an enrichment toy for my two dogs who have outsmarted all their previous puzzle treat toys. It took each dog about 30 minutes to get a piece of rabbit sausage out of the banana. Very cool to see my dogs problem solving in action. Very sturdy design and a good challenge for bored dogs.My dog is a habitual destroyer of toys. His favorite think to do is see how fast he can tear apart and eat any dog toy we give him. We have the orange and the banana, and both have lasted. The orange is going on almost 3 years strong.
