I have been looking for this album literally all over the world. I finally found it in Japan through Amazon. THANK YOU, Amazon Japan. You cane through and it arrived without a single crack or scratch. This was an album my late Dad played for me on a vinyl when I was a teen. I later purchased CD versions for him and for myself and after he passed, both CDs were lost through life. Budd Johnson’s crisp tenor saxophone tones are immensely connected to Earl Hines’ piano strokes, elevating all possible understanding of time and space into thin air. An album for the ages - and one I am intimately bound to. Panama Francis on drums and Jimmy Leary on bass are inhabiting a magic kingdom of their own. Together all four men make perfect sense to the yearning souls. A simply marvelous recording.
