Our dog is crazy about this toy, and it has held up under rigorous use.It's a cute toy, but my little dog tore it to pieces in under a day, lol. Still, the dog loved it.Pepper is very attached to this realistic looking toy!! Sadly he is too slow, fat and clumsy to catch a real squirrel so this is the next best thing!!!Its ok but its smaller then I thought it was so my dog doesn't like it as much as he did his old toy squirrel which was larger.I’ve bought approximately 30 of these squirrels over the span of 5 years for my dog. I started buying these because my dog lives to chase squirrels which can be dangerous for him and deadly for the squirrel. It makes him feel happy to have his own squirrel. When he sees any amazon package he thinks it’s his new squirrel toy. So when I actually order him a squirrel toy and open it. He goes crazy for it. He loves to chew the head off, pull the stuffing out and then tear the body apart. I’m hoping he’d never do that to a real squirrel if he caught up to one, cause I love squirrely’s and think they’re funny and adorable!?? all and all it’s a great toy. I just wish Amazon would stop hiking the price. 5 years ago they were about $6 now they’re $12 or more depending on Amazon’s system. Once in a while they go down to the $6 and I buy as many as I can before the price goes back up. As for the people complaining about the toy. It’s supposed to be a dog toy! Dogs have sharp teeth, they tear stuff part!thats the point of the toy. Shred it,rip it, kill it! That’s the fun! What do you expect the dog to do with it? Look at it, lick it? Sleep with it? Nope, it’s a chew squeaky toy. It’s the fun of getting a squirrel so your dog shreds the toy not a real squirrel and they have fun doing it . If you want a toy to stand up to sharp teeth. Get some big rawhide bones, Kong toys for big chewers or anything g meant for long lasting chewing. Not a soft fabric toy.If you love classic American taxidermy, this Squirrel will be a great addition to your household. Once you find the eyes beneath the fluff, they might be uneven. All of this character helped Tippy fall in love with her new best friend.This squirrel is cute, but the stitching quickly yielded after some play, even with my aging dog.Needs to be a little bit softer for the littler pups to be able to squeak. Otherwise it’s great, he loves it!Too long dont read / TLDR - Good quality but TINY product, be careful with larger dogs.Just to make clear this is NOT the sellers fault & wholly my own but please make sure you read the information/sizing. We previously had one of these for our dog & its only just been torn to shreds so thought we would get a new one. The old one however was near a full size real life squirrel, if not bigger so even though I mentally queried the size I just thought it would be the right one (Especially at this price).HOWEVER this is minute, a big keyring if anything and bigger dogs could eat this whole so be warned. The product itself is of good quality as was the prior but its not really suitable for all dogs. At this price point as well its quite expensive and I dread to think what someone paid for our previous and much bigger version, probably £30+.Waste of money - looked nothing like the picture and moulted so much loose fibre that I didn't dare give it to my dog in case it became a choking hazard or was ingested. It was coming out in wads ... very disappointed. It went straight in the bin.The squirrel is very cute, the small size is just right for a medium sized dog, but the 1st one I received had one eye only with no squeak and the replacement had two eyes but also did not squeak. I returned them both for a full refund.Lasted about 2 minsTerrible qualityI ordered this toy for my Springer spaniel on Sunday evening. The product came on Tuesday morning via Royal Mail Tracked so pleased with speed and service. However the toy is tiny!! i measured it at just under 6 inch (15cm) foot to tip of tail. My dog seems to love it but im watching him like an hawk so he doesnt swallow it. Good toy (so far) just very very small.
