So this smells nice, and it stays for a while, but if you're looking for a quick way to clean your dog, while keeping them relaxed, I would go with something else, especially if you have a long-fur breed. My Pomeranian/Papillon mix dog has long, thick fur and she hates standing still for too long. This spray does not cover a large area when you press on it, and theres no option to make it do so. It takes me like an hour to cover her whole little body, spread it evenly and dry it. If the bottle was made better, with a flexible push button I would give it 4 stars, but not 5, because there are way cheaper products that I have purchased that work just as well or even better. THE BOTTLE ALSO CAME WITHOUT A CAP. I think that's super weird. It did make my dog's fur soft though and did not seem to irritate her once I was done putting it on her, which I had to chase her around the room to do.I bought a dog when I lived in the suburbs, I had a big back yard and it was great. I got a big, rowdy dog with tons of energy! And then I was offered a job I couldn't pass up. Catch was, it was in the city and I couldn't manage going back and forth every day. The traveling was taking way too long. BUT I also refused to give my dog up. What can I say, he's family. SO anyway, I bought this product hoping it would really help to calm him down. I count on aromatherapy for me, so why not for my dog? Maybe it's just like owner like pet, but my dog reacts so strongly to the primrose/lavender combo. He calms down and my neighbors no longer mind him. Thank god for that too, Was so close to having to move or give him up , but now it's all ok.If you have dogs, you know it doesn't matter if you've just bathed them a few days ago! When they go out to play and roll around on the ground, they usually come back in stinking! This did the trick! I just sprayed it all over them, under them, on their head and anywhere else I could get it! I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it took care of the smell? And it wasn't overpowering, had a nice mild clean smell to it. But most of all I really like it because it doesn't have all those harmful chemicals that everything seems to be laced with now a days!!! Dogs don't seem to mind it either :) Naturally, if they go back out for awhile and come back in, you'll need to spray them again. Very happy with this product and will purchase again.I have one of those terriers that naturally smells "like a dog" even when clean, thus the reason for my purchase. This spray works as long as the dog remains in the house; however, once she goes outside for a walk or to play, it's back to that old sock smell. Although the product doesn't seem to have any negative affect to my girl's coat or skin, I'm reluctant to spray her as many times as she needs it during the day. Not displeased, though. It does what it says it's going to do.This spray is just lovely. Whenever we bring in my dog from the rain my whole house was reak of wet dog, but now we can get rid of the smell so quickly!! I didn't know it was possible to cover it up and make my dog smell so lovely so quickly even without a bath time. This product has changed what we let our dog do. We never used to let him out unless it was a beautiful day, but we no longer fear the smell of his in that off chance that it would rain on him! I've never see him so happy. Then again, maybe that's more to do with the fact that we don't force him into the bath as often. :PI like the smell of this product, not really strong. It works for a few hours and then the smelly old dog stench comes back. I think it is too much to expect of any product to take away the smell for very long. Even baths only work a short time. Perhaps if we weren't dealing with the chemistry of an aging dog, it would last longer.Good scenyI got this spray for my 3 month old mutt. I got her from the animal shelter and no matter what shampoo I used on her she was still stinky! So I decided to give this a try. She did NOT like being sprayed - she would try to escape. Also the smell did not last very long. The first few hours were great, but then it slowly faded. The smell is good, it just doesn't last which is why I'm giving it 3 stars.
