I have bought (and returned) no less than 10 different types and styles of boots for my tiny chihuahua before finding these. These boots are literally the only boots that are comfortable enough that he will happily leave them on. I live in northern MN so we have LOTS of snow all winter. Jax’s little feet are sensitive and without his boots will last about 10 seconds outside. These are a great mix as far as functionality as they are soft and comfortable like slippers but also do the heavy lifting outside. I don’t take them on and off all day either. He wears them all day just like we wear our shoes all day!! I have used these now for nearly 3 years so they have had LOT and LOTS of wear and are still holding strong. I’m buying a second pair just so he can have fresh, new ones but the old ones are still doing the job. My dog is mostly an indoor dog as he barely weighs 5 lbs. so you might have a different view if your dog is outside more than inside. I highly recommend!!
