We have three dogs and let me tell you these beds are magnificent! We have three and I’m now buying a fourth one! They are pretty indestructible, even for my pittie who likes to scratch beds and take out all the fluff. He hasn’t been able to tear these ones! And they all LOVE them. They sleep on them every night. We’ve had the other three beds for two years now and they are still in great condition. Trust me, buy these beds!I bought this dog bed for an outside dog that has torn up other beds. So far, so good. He uses the bed and has not destroyed it - yet. I like that this is waterproof as fleece covered beds get immediately dirty for dogs that are outside all the time.I have a 15 1/2 year old 60 pound dog who is not always able to make it outside in time to go to the bathroom. This bed is so easy to spot clean and I have washed it in the washing machine so many times and always comes out great!We purchased this brown one sometime in 2019, and then the grey version sometime in 2020 because we were so happy with it. That’s over 2 years that we’ve owned both, and between dogs scratching at them and having to wash them over and over AND OVER with a puppy, they have withstood the test of time very well. No other dog bed we’ve owned has lasted this long, usually 6 months max. I only wish they had different sizes of these so we could get square ones for our smaller dogs.This literally only lasted me a week a half before my dog chewed off the corner and started taking the stuffing out. I only bought this one because it said it was durable and the reviews said it could hold up but no way, I’m finding cotton blobs all over the place nowThis bed looks and feels like good quality. I am so disappointed that it tore in the washing machine and the stuffing came out. And apparently it's past the return date even though I only bought it 2 months ago. I guess you rub soap on it and spray it with a hose to clean but I bought it because it was supposed to be machine washable.I don’t know yet how durable or if it’s chewproof. My dog chews apart everything!! She usually sleeps with me on my bed or on the couch.She absolutely loves this, so she hasn’t even tried to chew it yet. She uses it inside and I bring it outside. She fits perfect , she weighs 55-60 lbs. lays on it all the time hasn’t been on the couch since I got it.Like but not easy to clean for big dogs.We have three Huskies and they are super tough on dog beds. They HAVE to scratch at a bed before they lie down, a throwback from sleeping in the snow. These beds can take everything they hand out and stay undamaged. They are also really easy to clean. Great productThis is my first camping trip with this bed and so far I really love it. My dog is very spoiled and all the beds I've tried for him he always wants to sleep in my spot. This trip he was pretty content using his bed. He's a Catahoula and having very short fine fur with no under coat and it going down to 11C over night I put a fleece blanket on top to keep the warm in and covered him in my bestie blanket from MEC and he was so toasty. Even when I got up in the middle of the night use the washroom he didnt try and take my spot. During the day when it was alot warmer he had a nice nap in it plain without the blankets. Indiana is a chill dog who is mostly really calm and not rambunctious or a chewer. I gave 5 stars for durability because for my type of dog this bed will last a long time. As for actual chewer dogs I don't believe this would with stand a chewing or separation anxiety shesh.I was very disappointed with this productIt was supposed to be water proof it’s notIt was supposed to be chew resistant it’s notSo if you have a dog and chews threw everything don’t bother buying it, mine chewed threw it and I had it less then a monthLike lying on a cloud. Lovely and thick. I will describe it as something similar to an air mattress. Seems like drool and doggie treats will wipe off easily. My dog isn’t a chewer and is very gentle on couches so I believe I’ll certainly get my money’s worth. My boxer loves sleeping on it but more importantly it’s enjoyed by my cat.Our dog loves LOVES this bed. We bought one for outside on the deck and to take camping. He can't wait to go outside in the morning to lie on it, so we bought another one for in the house.Our dog is paralyzed and incontinent so the water resistant quality was a must. The outter layer of fabric does absorb moisture but I'm pretty sure the description states moisture wicking. I think it's great that it does because then the moisture doesn't sit on your dogs skin. The inner layer is water resistant though because even out in the rain the bed doesn't become saturated through. I haven't tried machine washing this because it's simply too large for my washer and trying to jam it in there would most likely damage it. I see other reviews where people have had it ruined in the wash. I think taking it to a laundrymat for an oversized washer might be ok. I just wash mine in the yard with some soap, a scrub brush and the hose. Will have to try laundrymat over winter though. We cover it with blankets to help keep it clean and dry from pp accidents though.So far he hasn't destroyed either bed. Been over 3months for 1st one. I would consider him a moderate to heavy chewer. He's totally annihilated those foam mattresses in hours.
