I have a Pug, and have been looking for the perfect leash for her. The leash I was using previously recently wore out after heavy use, and I decided it was time to purchase a new one for her.After searching, I have found the perfect leash for a great price!I took my dog on a walk today, and not only did she love the leash, but I loved it!It is made out of a strong rope, and is bound with a small leather strip at both ends. The leash had a nice, comfortable feel when holding it, especially when my dog tugs. Also, the leash did not weigh on my dogs collar, which is a problem I had with other leashes I have used. One of my favorite features that I noticed at night was the 3m reflective material that is wrapped all along the leash. This is a very important feature of the leash for me because it keeps both me and my dog safe during the night. If a car were to drive by, the light from the car would reflect off of the leash, allowing the driver to see both me and my dog walking.I highly recommend this leash if you want both you and your dog to feel safe, comfortable, and together.Like other reviews have said, this is a lightweight and easy to use leash. However, the materials are quite cheap. The leash itself looks to be of woven plastic which could be uncomfortable if it gets caught under your dog's leg. The metal clasp is quite cheap and could easily slip off the collar. Not a product to use on bigger dogs or those heavy pullers.I have a 50lb American Bully and a 13lb dachshund mix and I can use the leave for either dog. The leash is thick enough to hold back my big dog when she pulls and easy to hold on to when I'm trying to shorten her leash. The hardware is very heavy duty and seems like it will hold up for a long time. Good leash for the price.Very solid lease. Substantial thickness to the leash itself. Also has a very large and sturdy clasp. Probably a little overkill for my 15 pound yorkie, but would work well for any dog 15 pounds and up I'd say. Thick rope also made it easy to hold onto, liked that feature. Also felt ki d of trendy. Partner likes it because it's not a girly looking one, so theres that!Overall, cute leash that is sturdy and works!So far - so good. This leash is TOO CUTE. We ordered the black and white one and it's very "on-trend" with what's popular right now. I was surprised at how lightweight it is, even my husband said he liked it. I also like that its reflective since I prefer later/evening walks with our pup for a bit of added safety. Haven't had any issues so far and we've used it every day since we got it.Item received in a clear bag with minimal packaging. Collar hook is a metal standard spring trigger lock. Sewing appears durable. Reflector is embedded in leash. Leash is a standard 5 foot as stated. The handle is the same material as the leash. This was the reason for comfort I have a 4/5. Padding on the handle would have been preferred. But I have to say, upon opening the leash, my dog loved it!I love this leash. I have been wanting to purchase a nice thick rope leash like this for a while now and I am so glad I chose this one. The material and durability of this one is awesome. The size of the handle is just right and the length is perfect. I chose the black and white pattern and I think it looks pretty slick! No regrets!!!I received my order in the mail today and I'm pleasantly surprised. This is actually lightweight, it's actually so light it barely feels like anything. I also like the black clasp, it opens more easily than the ones I got from the local store, which makes it easier to get on and off for my dogs when we have an emergency bio break! Very nice value.
