I purchased both volume 1 and 2 and I love them. Sound quality is good enough. If you are comparing it to Bongo Fury you have to keep in mind that a lot of that album is in the studio. This is the raw unedited tour that Zappa and the Captain embarked on in '75 and it was recorded a few months after this one. Some of the greatest Zappa guitar around. I find myself going back to this one over and over again. I'm really glad I got it!
