SO these are Rear springs and are thicker coils then factory, they are a bit taller when they are side by side on the bench. The were brand new with no defects. We had the rear-end of the jeep down so they went in easy did not have to compress them so can not comment on how that would be. A note to those that do not know there is an A spring and a B spring...OME does not list on the site or send you instruction on what side to put on left or right...you can find the instructions or call them but you will find different answers in different places for my WK it is based on where the weight is distributed in the Jeep gas tank,driver etc etc. the A spring is the taller of the 2. Mine the A goes on the drivers side. You can find that they are marked on the little sticker next to the bird symbol it is small. They gave a nice lift and are solid. You may want to think about getting the sway bar extension if you are lifting more then 4" If ANYTHING changes I will update
