While Spider-Man's exploits from Amazing Spiderman have been very well collected over the years, stories from his other series, such as Spectacular Spiderman and Web of Spiderman have largely been ignored by Marvel. So I was thrilled when this trade was announced. Written by Spiderman legend Gerry Conway, and drawn by industry legend, the under rated Sal Buscema, this volume is a fantastic set of stories from the late 80's. It's true that the second half of the stories largely dont include Tombstone, but the various plot threads kind of demanded the other stories be included. I'm not sure the inferno stories had to be there though, as they appear with very little explanation and don't continue directly into each other, why bother including them, really? Would have much rather seen this collection extend to 153 or so instead.The downside to a collection like this is there will always be dangling plot threads. You'll want to know what happens next, not just with Tombstone, but with the Lobos and the Arranger and more.
