This movie rules but the DVD is a total turd. A pan-and-scan rip from a VHS of when the film was on TV. Huge portions of the screen are missing. Curse words are bleeped out. The audio and video even lose synch during one scene. This might be the only way to see the film outside of repertory screenings but I found the viewing experience frustrating. You're definitely not getting the whole movie. The cover even says "Digitally Remastered". From what? Cave drawings? A total rip-off.Which is a shame, because Hollywood Man rips! William Smith kicks butt, Mary Woronov is a god as always, and the villains are so perfectly scuzzy. A fun look at the moviemaking process too. Reminds me of the last quarter of The True Life Story of Jody McKeegan.
