First let me start off by saying that kotobukiya makes great products. I have never purchased any of their products that I was disappointed with and this statue is no exception. The statue is great. The face sculpt is fantastic; much better than the DC collectibles statue that came out not too long ago. The paint is great, on the face and on the suit. While I do not care for the material of the cape it does not take too much away from the statue. The suit is also textured not just painted. I highly recommend this statue to any Superman fan. You can not go wrong.For me and compared with DC's first statue, this statue is better by far. The details of the suit, the details of the face are very familiar to those of Henry Cavill's and finally the posture is just stunning. I am really into ARTFX statues as I prefer cold cast porcelain but Kotobukiya just did an excellent job on this one and he honestly made the DC one look of less quality. Would highly recommend this to superman fans...by the end of this year and when stores run out of it, this statue will most probably sell for $200+This Kotobukiya statue of the Man of Steel is very nice. There are some flaws in the representation of Henry Cavill, but still good enough that you can tell it supposed to look like hime.1 more con to this statue that stops it from being 5 stars. The left foot (for my statue) will not lock into place. It is roughly a quarter inch off. Which made hime fall over and pop his arm off the day I got it. Luckily it was at the shoulder so it popped back know easily with glue.The latest film starring Henry Cavill was perhaps one of the best installations of the Superman saga, ever, except for the first films with Christopher Reeve.This statue is a wonderful attempt at being able to hold on to the memory of the character, and like any memorabilia, is a "treasure" to behold. Kotobukiya captures the character, and continues to impress with all of their ventures.While you are awaiting the sequel and any other films concerning Superman, you have a figure atop of your dresser or shelf somewhere to enjoy.Bravo! to Kotobukiya.This is an incredible looking Superman Statue! Everything is detailed, right down to the 'S' stand he can be mounted on. I love Kotobukiya statues, because they are always so detailed, without breaking your wallet. I got this as a Christmas gift and I couldn't be more happy with this ArtFX statue. The cape has thin wires inside of it, so it can be shaped like the wind is running through it or you can lay it down. The definition to Superman's suit and Henry Cavill's face are extremely detailed and accurate.My second Kotobukiya statue purchased (bought the Iron Man Mark 43). Even though the statue is not articulated (the cape is posable) to change the position like those made by Hot Toys, the price is way cheaper. The details and face is spot right on to the movie.I wish I could show this to you in person. It is pricy but you get what you pay for. The statue is fantastic. It is very detailed and a wonderful likeness of Henry Cavill. I have it down in my 'fortress of Solitude' basement with many, many other Superman items and it does stand out as a great looking addition. It's worth the price you paid for it.Awesome statue of Superman! I just wish his feet had metal pegs to insert in holes on the base instead of raised plastic ridges. The likeness of Henry Cavill is Amazing.Bought as a present for my nephew who loves anything DC.Firstly I like the fact they've managed to make it look like Henry Cavil.Secondly the statue is a lot bigger than what you would initially think but it doesn't lose any of the quality as it feels sturdy and again the attention to detail is second to none, I also like the idea of the pose able cape as it allows you to mould it into various positions; in addition it feels soft to the touch and you can tell it's made from a decent material.I would definitely recommend this to anyone whose thinking of either adding to their collection or thinking of starting oneI got the last one from Amazon Prime and it was well worth the money. It is another quality statue from Kotobukiya. It is aprox 11 inches tall, solid, is a well detailed statue and the suit looks awesome. The Cape is made from material and has wire in it so you can have it in various positions. Comes in a really nice box and there is no assembly apart from attaching the stand to the statue which literally pops onto the feet. Highly recommended!Probably the best statue you can buy for the price, this was my first purchase which started my collection off, the Base is plastic but still nice quality, the cape is posable and you will probably spend a good half hour getting the cape in the best pose possible, great resemblance to Cavill for the price, you won't regret buying this statue!!The detail on this is excellent, you cannot fault the design or features to this figurine. Expensive but well worth it to add to our collectables.Blown away by this figure,have spent hours messing around with cape,very durable material an its pretty astounding how it changes the whole dynamic of this awesome figure.
