DESCRIPTION
Convicted in 1985 for the murder of FBI informant, Wayne Tilley, in Eden, North Carolina. Bobby Ray Brown spent eight years on Death Row before his sentence was reduced to life in prison. He swears on his mother's grave that he is innocent but two sheriffs, those responsible for his being convicted, are determined to keep him there. As Brown says, "If you put a man in prison to die knowing he was innocent, wouldn't you be afraid to let him out?" Brown's story has attracted help from a dedicated group of people who are working tirelessly to have him released.

Great book! I'm from the small town that Mr. Brown was from. I was only 4-5 yr old when the murder happened. I'm 45 now. My father also was good friends with Mr. Brown. My daddy was no outlaw or ever in trouble with law except drinking and driving. I remember him always saying," Bobby didn't kill Tilley guy"! We lived mile away from this murder. not only my father, but everyone on East Aiken Rd said, Bobby didn't do this! The corruption in this small town with law enforcement & Justice and law IS WORSENED! ONLY THE PEOPLE THAT ARE NEAR AND DEAR TO "GOOD OL BOYS CLUB" IN THE DIRTY SOUTH are still above the law! This man died in prison for murder he didn't commit! RIP Bobby Ray Brown
