Good fit with a deep chestWhile I really like the jacket itself, I do not like the zipper. I don't mind that it is on the belly (although on top world be nice), but the fact that it zips from collar to belly is just awkward.The sizing chart was great help and so it fits my dog perfect.I like the way the collar comes up and the back is a little longer. I have a 5 pound Terrier/Chihuahua mix and while tiny, she is longer than other Chihuahuas I have had in the past. So to buy something small enough, it often ends up being too short. The extra length on this jacket helps with that.I would suggest making a version with a D-ring on the back. But since her XS harness is still a little loose on her we can just put her harness over the jacket for now.What seemed like a great product fell apart after maybe 20 uses. The zipper just fell apart even though it had only been used just a small amount of time. I couldn't find a warranty offered on the Amazon page. I emailed in and they said you only have 30 days to return it exchange it, effectively saying they offer no warranty. What a joke especially when they say it's made out of premium materials and tout it is such a high quality product to offer such a ridiculously terrible return exchange paid For defects. What are the higher price products on Amazon for a dog code and this is the customer service they provide. I'd recommend staying far away from them.Our dog isn’t a huge fan. Goes running when he sees it. Zipper will catch on fur so need to be careful.The fit is great since I measured my pup before buying. I bought the size M47 for my 43lbs heeler mix. She can run in it easily and when I stuck my hand in the jacket while she was wearing it, it felt warm.I purchased the coral, which I expected to be darker but came in like a lighter peach pink. I’m still really satisfied with the quality, however! I just would’ve chosen a different color had I known.This material is SO soft, squishy and great quality! Unfortunately, it does not fit my chiweenie (dachshund mix, very similar to standard dachshund shape), as he is in between sizes. It's freaking adorable and I'm sure a great coat, if it fits. Just thought this may help someone else with a long hotdog! P.s. The chest and arms were slightly too small in one size, then way too loose to stay on in the next size up.It fits great also I had to exchange for one size bigger than listed measurements initially. The zipper on the underside is nice as you don't have to close it unless you really need it and the coat stays on (for a quick ride in the cold car etc). But when you need full protection (I have a short dog so with the large amounts of snow we have had, he is often up to his head, lol) it's easy enough. So far (a few weeks) the coat has held up will and I hope this continues.I was soo excited for the arrival of this cozy looking dog jacket. I had measured my 13 pound pocket beagle and ordered accordingly. Unfortunately it fits way smaller then I expected and it will be too tight for her to wear. The jacket looks really cozy and of good quality though. I did find the zipper challenging to do up with its awkward placement on the bottom side of the jacket and it zips from the collar down to the belly which felt a bit backwards. I wish it was Velcro so that it was easier and allowed for some extra room.
