My Robert Taylor book arrived in excellent condition. I enjoy reading biographies. This Robert Taylor biography was fascinating and well written.Writer made him appear as so innocent and must of been in love with him.I was a little disappointed in this book . It seemed sort of thrown together and more of some sort of silly speculation of his affairs and marriages that became a little embarrassing for me to read about . He was such a fine actor and made so many good movies ,but there was no mention of one of his lesser known but better roles in a movie that's one of my favorite's "Above and Beyond" where he plays Col Paul Tibbetts. This is a very interesting biography of one of the great movie stars of the MGM studio during the 30's, 40's, and 50's. It does not delve into the storyline of every movie but instead dwells on his personal life. Many details and fun tidbits about the other famous stars of this era. A thoroughly delightful book about the handsome star and how his career changed over the decades.Great Seller, excellent price, and fast shipping. Well Done. My mother had been looking for this book for a while now and was thrilled to find the book at such a great price. Thank you.Very interesting infoRobert Taylor: The Man With the Perfect Face is a book that tells of Taylor's life, and it does a decent job. It published just four years after his death in 1969, and the author, Ms. Wayne, was able to meet him, so that lends credibility to her biography of this Hollywood heartthrob. But the book doesn't go deep enough. It reads like a compilation of data, with little life added in. It paints Robert Taylor as almost a "goody two shoes."Yet there was more to him, & I for one hope to read a book that uncovers and tells the truth about many other factions of his life. He WAS a good, solid family man. He had no shocking secrets. Yet he DID harbor demons, and this is the story Ms. Wayne should've told.I bought this for my sister; she was surprised that the book was in such good condition. She enjoyed it; we would buy other books such as this. The book was awsome about an awsome person fasted book I have ever read it was wonderfull one of my treasure possessions from a young fan of Robert Taylor
