This book is very insightful and really helped with my marriage. I bought it for my wife originally it helped her be able to understand me better and as well as gave her some insight on the order of marriage from a Christian perspective. I also read it and it helped me in my walk of faith and encouraged me to be a strong Christian man for her and our family.I consider this - and its companion book, Discovering the Mind of a Woman, the "Best" of all the books of this genre. I heard Ken speak in person - which is why I originally purchased his books! - and have shared my copies and recommended them to others through the years. Most of the (good) "popular" authors and speakers on the topic of getting along with the opposite sex in general, and marriage in particular, seem to have gotten their "source material" from Ken.This book revolutionized my thinking about the roles of husband and wife from God's perspective. It debunks what has been passed on by churches as ungodlly and detrimental. I only wish I had read it 4 decades ago. The truth will surely set you free and this book helps greatly in doing that. Every woman married or getting married should read this book. For every married woman she needs to understand her husband better in order to have harmony in the home. There is a companion book to understand women. Very good, Christian principles.Still in the process of reading this book. It seems to have some good insights and helpful guidance along with appropriate Scripture references. My mom bought this book, she says 4 stars... I'm not asking why.. Too weird! This book misses the mark completely. I believe this author is on the right track on his other book called "Discovering the heart of a Woman" when it comes to encouraging men toward Christ-like behavior. It was convicting to me. But in this book he's setting women up to ultimately push their husbands further away. The methods described here will probably validate what many women are feeling (I believe rightfully so), but does not provide them the right methods for encouraging their husbands to Christ-like living. If there are real problems in the marriage leading a wife to read this book, her husband is probably not in a very good position to accept the criticism he will be receiving. The response more often than not will not be positive.good book arrived promptly
