This works great with peanut butter. My dog loves it and it keeps him distracted/busy for at least ten minutes. It was a little hard to put in place on the crate but it worked well there once I got it on. He doesn’t ever have it long enough to chew on it but if feels pretty durable.The only thing I don’t like is cleaning it. It’s hard to get all the peanut butter off but I soak it in dish soap water then use a bottle brush to clean it. Still worth it though.My 3 month old , golden retriever, puppy loves using this for peanut butter but she quickly tries to bite it and use it as a chew toy. She can easily bite pieces of the toy off and I would not feel safe leaving this toy with her while she’s in the create.Our new rescue pup was not crate trained. Only took 3 nights with this feeder for her to accept the crate and even at that, literally 15 min. Vs 10 min and then 5 min. on the 3rd night. Loves her crate now. Great distraction.I just got a puppy and we have been crate training him. I put peanut butter on this at night and then put it in the freezer when I leave in the morning. He goes crazy for it and it lasts for a long time when you freeze it!
