The roll of fence is quite heavy and gets bent when thrown around on a delivery truck. The cardboard box around it does not provide much protection. If you are planning to install a fence and you care about how it looks, this might not be the best option. I will use it to build the inlet cage for a beaver deceiver, so I will bend and cut it anyway and a few nicks won't make a difference. This appears to have been a good choice for my project - so far the beaver has been deceived.
