Ok so the costume didn't go over well with my husband since he wanted a real Daniel Boone costume (I guess with leather cowhide pants from the early 1800s and a high quality shirt to match-- so forget that part of the review.) THE HAT: We live in Texas and he has a shaved head. When it's cold outside he wears the hat everywhere. I'm a little embarrassed to be seen with him BUT it's good quality, looks almost real and fits well. His head it on the larger side.
